The most common DIY mistake I see in people's homes
Not using the right fixings for the wall type. Plasterboard, solid brick, and stud walls all need different fixings. I've seen shelves, TVs, and radiators fall off walls because someone used the wrong anchor. Five minutes of research before you drill saves a lot of heartache.
