Why I always start with the floor plan before touching anything else
Furniture placement determines how a room feels before you've chosen a single colour or fabric. Get the layout right and everything else becomes easier. Get it wrong and no amount of styling will fix it. I spend at least a third of every project on the floor plan alone.
